Anyone know if there are stands along the side of the road anywhere over here on the NW side? I'd love to get some homegrown or heirloom tomatoes. I am dying to make ceviche this week. I wouldn't mind any other fresh, homegrown veggies, too!

M2F - Let me know if you find any nearby. Sadly the only decent places I have seen this summer for them have been Costco.

Will do. There's nothing like a homegrown tomato!

with a little salt and feta crumbeled on top I miss the watermelon guy that used to sell right across from Walmart. Far better than any of the ones at the grocery store.

There is a farmers market in the Gradys parking lot on Bandera near Eckhert...it is in the morning on Thursday or Friday, I believe. SA 08 went the other day and she said she got some nice stuff, tomatoes, too, IIRC.

I will have to rely on bountifulbaskets still since it's on Saturdays. The stuff is great but it's a gamble because you have no say in what you get.
