uh oh...here we gooooooooooo....Just say no to the Becker Animal Clinic on I-10. The vet who killed his neighbor's dog with an ax treated our cat's fight wounds. It was crazy expensive, finally took him to our own vet when the wounds kept getting infected under the stitches. She took out his stitches and said they were unnecessary. The wounds drained and healed in a week with antibiotics.

I have used Alamo Feline since 2003, and have taken a total of 8 cats there over those years. I LOVE Alamo Feline! No questions asked. They are a BIT pricer than other vets (like $5 more for an exam) but you get what you pay for and I am willing to pay extra for peace of mind. I have tried other vets in the city and they just can't compare.

The people that complain about the price don't ask ahead of time what the Dr plans to do and what the cost will be. Just recently, I took in 5 cats:

2 kittens for shots and FIV/LEU testing
2 cats for annuals which include EKGs (they have genetic heart problems)
1 cat for lung xrays for a mass we found a few months earlier (now gone thanks to the power of prayer!)

Total bill for ALL that??? $440! A steal if you ask me and comparable to ANY other reliable vet in this city.

We see Dr Norsworthy. He is world renowned for his work with felines. DM me if you want more info or details.
