That is a neat sound bite...but doesnt reflect reality.

There are times where we dont get to chose the nature of the fight, but we are in it.

You have to decide before that moment comes on what terms you will face that moment. It is your choice but know, words are often not enough.

This is not a right or wrong issue it is a situation issue. If you find yourself in a bad enough situation...what are you going to do? Also keep in mind if you are unable to solve a violent problem, your options are pretty much "die" or call someone to help with your violent problem. The system we have for that (the Police) will bring guns.

It is simple. When you need a gun, you can do it yourself, if you cant, and you can live long enough, your only hope is someone with a gun shows up.

Something to think about.

The people in the vehicle shot at were extremely lucky that only their car was damaged. Chasing after the shooters like that could have ended in their death, in which case we'd be reading a whole different news story.

Many years ago I used to wonder why a lot of these local TV Lawyers advertised heavily on 18 Wheeler Accidents. I soon learned why.
The bad thing is if they hit you your next stop is the morgue
LOL, good luck with some of those, I get paid by the load but I rather get there in one piece than in pieces. I am the laziest driver and I really dont care about making an extra dollar in exchange of two extra gallons of burnt fuel... I could say the same about four wheelers not giving a crap about me and cutting in my blind spots or getting in my braking spaces. I came to the terms if some one wants to be a risk taker, it will be their funeral and not mine. Why involve innocent drivers by taking evasive action to avoid those scums that disregard their well being.... But like I said... I am happy not working here in San Antonio
