The USAA properties website has a rendering of phase II as well as some brief information - USAA Real Estate Company - Development Services - Projects In Progress (http://www.usaarealco.com/developmentCapital/projectsInProgressDetail.aspx?hmy=36 - broken link)

Looks like there is going to be a Barnes & Nobles as well as an Urban Outfitters.

You know, somewhere my fifteen year old self is jumping up and down in glee at the thought of an Urban Outfitters.

My current self, at 25, is more interested in the Anthropologie location across from the Apple store.

It seems, with new shopping development in SA, we keep talking in circles... If you'd use the search function, you'd see the multitude of threads already in-progress involving named stores for Phase Two, as well as projected finish/opening dates.

As for Central Market and Trader Joe's: They're not happening in SA for a long, long time. The question keeps being asked here. Traders needs a regional warehouse to store the fresh goods and they aren't willing or wanting to expand into South Texas. They've gone on record as saying that.

Central Market as a continuing concept is almost dead to HEB. They won't be building any additional locations and will focus solely on the HEB Plus idea... This is per The San Antonio Business Journal and an in-depth interview with their CEO. It was quoted that it's cheaper and more cost-effective to go with the Plus than a CM.

Over a month ago a news story reported that the list of tenants would be release in April. Has anyone heard word lately?

The HEB at Alon Town Centre will be as close to a Central Market as one can get without calling it that.
