Any truly good private Christian schools (K-8 or K-12) on the NW side that are not Catholic?

Thanks!

Our son's friend attended this one prior to middle school:
Northwest Hills Christian School

I only mention it since it's sort of off the beaten path, behind Silver Creek. I don't know anything about them.

We are happy with Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran, which goes through 8th grade. On Wurzbach, between Babcock and Evers.

Shepherd of the Hills is a very nice school. I did an intership there several years ago. I believe while its associated with the Lutheran Church, they dont necessarily teach the doctrine. Good luck in your search! I know how tough it can be.

Edit - I actually checked, and they do teach according to Lutheran doctrine. Here is the link to the curriculum for religion http://www.cph.org/ and here is the curriculum overview by grade. http://www.shlutheran.org/School/Cur...S/Default.aspx

Several Shepherd kids have transferred to Cornerstone after eighth grade. How far northwest are you looking? Cornerstone Christian is right at the north/northwest line. It's at 410/I10 interchange. There are some smaller schools further west. I would visit each school and ask for a tour. The admission counselors should be able to give you tons of info on your tour.
(BTW, I have worked in private Christian ed for 9 years).

Also looking into this. Cornerstone looks great but is super expensive. Anything other Christian high schools on the north/northwest side not as expensive?

I heard good things about Village Parkway Christinas school and their tuition is pretty low. It's a small school.
