what do you consider reasonable, $20 per person, $30 or $40? How many people? I know it's a chain, but I absolutely adore The Melting Pot. It's so fun, and it's actually really good. It is anywhere from $30-50 a person depending on drinks and the menu you choose, but it is really worth it. It's probably not everyone's cup of tea, but it's definitely one of mine! Fondue rocks

Fun and reasonable are relative terms. What do you like to do? How much is reasonable? $20/person or $100/person? Do you prefer Downtown, Stone Oak, or another area? How many people are going?

I just made reservations for Tre Trattoria downtown for my 30th. Looking forward to it! (The dinner part, not the turning 30 part).

Addtional questions...male or female? Is there a particular style of food? Price per person? Price limit? How many people?

I recently went to Texas de Brazil for a co-workers 40th. Prices there are steep, around $50+ bucks but I guess because we were so many, we got a bit of discount. My GF and I tallyed up a $120. It's a good "once every few months" place. Plus it gave me my lil taste of Brasil I miss and it was with good friends. It's an expierence.

I always do my birthday celebrations at Morton's. My favorite place. They have a special on their website for $110 for two people for dinner. That does not include any cocktails but yummy.

I just had a birthday gathering with friends of wine and tapas plates at Wine 101 in Bulverde for 10 people and the check was only like $250. Not bad at all an we had lots to drink and eat.

It really just depends on what you are looking for and what you consider reasonable. There are plenty of places that do HH on weekends where you can get a great deal (Wild Fish, Roaring Fork, Leon Springs Grill) if you are wanting a laid back time with friends in the bar area.

Have a great birthday.

How about Rosario's on a Saturday night? Enjoy some salsa music...eat, then maybe go check out the riverwalk afterwards.

Don't eat there, but the Tower of the Americas is great for drinks after dinner!
