With so many choices locally where do you buy your cosmetics?

There's also an Ulta at the Rim.

Here's my list (in no specific order) of places around town I've bought cosmetics from and will in the future

1) Ulta
2) Other places where "drugstore" cosmetics are sold. This is HEB, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, etc. etc.
3) MAC Cosmetics (there's a stand alone store at North Star)
4) Sephora (this is mid-range to high-end make-up, also a stand alone store at North Star)
5) Department store counter cosmetics like Estee Lauder, Clinique, Lancome, Chanel, etc.

There is also an Ulta at 1604/281 next to the Marshalls. I also like Clinique so I watch for the specials as you can stock up on lipstick, eyeshadow, and moisturizer with a purchase--around $25 I think. Other dept store brands do specials as well.

-Ulta at either the Quarry or 1604/281 area (these are the two closest to me), but prefer the 1604/281 location
-Sephora at either North Star or La Cantera, but MUCH prefer La Cantera (although not close to me at all) - usually a bit more selection and not as many people coming in there clearly just to use all of the testers to make themselves up
-Nordstrom
-MAC counter or MAC store

Clinique here so Dillards, Macy's and Nordstrom. I stock up when it is gift with purchase. Dillards just ended and Macy's starts on Wednesday. Nordstrom has their gift with purchase in November.
