Most restaurants are closed on Mondays.
Try Alamo Springs outside of town, Peach Tree, or Sunset Grill. Be sure to check if they are open before heading out.

Absolutely highly recommend my favorite hamburger (and #3 rated in Texas by Texas Monthly) place at Alamo Springs Cafe ! Link is:
Alamo Springs Cafe, Fredricksburg Texas . You can do this either before or after your Wild Seed farm trip since it's on the way.
You WONT be dissapointed! The drive to there is beautiful and there is an awesome bat cave that you can view (you can see some bats flying around in the day time, but best for evenings) if you hike a little. This is right next to the restaurant, so perfect if you need to "decompress" a little after eating those burgers. They are open Mondays!
Another idea, since it's sort of near by, is to check out the "Texas White House" (LBJ National Park):
http://www.nps.gov/lyjo/index.htm . See LBJ's old car collection, his office where he planned the Vietnam war, several 19th Century pioneer buildings left untouched, his private runway with AIR FORCE ONE (a static display), buffalo, a working farm and ranch, etc. Lots to see and the perfect weather for it. All FREE.
