Is there anyway for us common folk without MLS access to search sold listings? SABOR doesnt seem to have it on their public site. HAR in Houston does. It will not give exact sales price, but gives and "estimated sales price".

any way to search this in San Antonio?

Oh, sorry, I'm immersed in the Dallas market right now. It didn't occur to me that SA is not on there.

I don't think there's a way to do run that search except on MLS. It's the only site where we agents enter the sold price for a property and our MLS rules are pretty strict about how that information is shared with the public. BCAD isn't accurate and sites like Zillow are WAY off. Be careful with any site that seems to list real sales prices; those prices may not be real at all.

As said before, MLS is the only place you're going to get it. Texas is a non-disclosure state, so you'll be hard pressed to find anything online, unless you go onto the MLS via your Realtor.

Some of the contracts on high end properties contain a clause that the property will be de listed from MLS before it closes; that way the sale price cannot be determined from an MLS search. This is becoming more common.
