We are moving to SA in 3 weeks. We made a trip tp SA and put a contract on a home. It fell through. We have no time or money to make another trip before we move. We looked at several home in north SA. Really, we weren't impressed with anything in the NE. (Internet pics are very deceiving!!). The home we liked was in the NISD off the 1604 Loop (close to Bandera, I think???). We liked the area. Any suggestions for a moderately priced subdivision in that area -safe and family-friendly of course (We have 4 kids).

Alamo Ranch, Sonoma Verde, Sonoma Ranch, Great Northwest. I'm not too sure what "moderately priced" is for you but I'm sure you'll find it with on of those subdivisions. Also, MYSA.com has a real estate that you may what to look into.

MySA.com: San Antonio real estate, new and resale home listings, MLS listings, and apartments l MySA.com Real Estate Online

That link takes you to a page that narrow downs your search with zip codes. Try looking at the 78249 and 78250 zips.

You should really consider the proximity of these neighborhoods to your place of employment. Traffic can be a nightmare and you can waste lots of time sitting still if you don't plan accordingly. Your realtor should be able to assist you with this. If you don't mind sharing where your job is located, I'm sure everyone here can give you their opinions.

My office is in Castle Hills and moderately priced would be max of $125,000. Thanks!
