Personally, I wouldn't want to go anywhere to eat on a major holiday unless I thought there would not be a very long waiting time before being seated. Just something to consider. At least with places where you can get a reservation, the chances of such long waits are much less. Nothing worse than a holiday that will be remembered in a negative way!

This is my first Thanksgiving at home with everyone in nearly a decade. Thanksgiving, I noticed, was never crazy packed with people. I went to a Cracker Barrel in Georgia last year and it wasn't bad at all. No wait and we spent the entire time talking with the couple next to us who were from New York. It was fun. Now that I'm home and having to find out what I have to cook and bring, makes me miss going to a restuarant where it's cooked already. But to each their own.

This was actually the first place I thought of.

We've done some of their take home dishes over the last few years. (It's just my wife and I). It's not too bad, thought it was a little overpriced for what we got (sweet potatoes), but in restaraunt may be better/different.

Daughter and husband agreed to the take-home meal for 6. IT WAS DELICIOUS! And I am VERY picky about food. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to cook and clean next Thanksgiving, or for Christmas, if it is offered.
