Yesterday marked 25 years since the untimely death of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
How time flies.
R.I.P. my friend.

I just saw him Sunday night in a 1971 episode of "Columbo". Hadn't thought of him in eons, and it was like going back in time. Then today I read about his death at 83.

A news link on the Variety page I read the story on showed that Judy Karne of "Laugh-In" fame died at age 76.

Update: He had a heart attack and died in his sleep in his hotel room. He was in Virginia to attend a golf tournament.

Seems like yesterday. I was living in Austin when SRV passed, I remember KLBJ played his music non-stop for a day or two. I sat there with the radio on and drank and listened quietly. I had his first 2 albums on vinyl and it had got me through high school a few years before.

McManus is back as the Police Chief. Anyone know why he left his current job as Head of Security at CPS? Obviously it didn't work out for him, curious as to why? Surely he would have given his resignation a great deal of thought.
