I've heard its ok. I know they pay pretty decent.

My GF works at JCrew and loves it. I have heard Nationwide is pretty good as well.

avoid volt and (if they still have the contract) att/2wire, unless youre a skinny attractive girl (politics and looks come heavily into play there).

especially avoid vold and any contract they throw at you. susan, the on-site rep for volt at att/2wire is someone you should avoid like the plague as well

You could try working for Harland Clarke at one of the call centers. Adecco (office is on 281 near the airport) can set you up there. The Harland Clarke call centers are on the NW side near DeZavala and IH-10.

QVC is amazing, I worked at Citicorp back in the late 90's and they paid me to go to school for finance but after awhile, I realized it was boring. I moved around and when I cam back to San Antonio in 2003, I worked for Caremark, I really liked it and it got me into Pharmacy, but theres not much room for advancement there. I have been at QVC for awhile and the people are amazing and so is the work environment. So are the discounts. I love it so much that even though I am a registered Pharm. Tech now, I still work at QVC while going to UIW to complete my pre pharm program.

I work at kgb and its not bad. the training is long (got 2 weeks left), but they have a great bonus program. not to mention getting those bonuses are EASY. fun stuff.

most of our reps came from volt/2wire and made sure to tell everyone to avoid that place. lol

Is there anyone hiring and could get me in? I currently work for medical collections. I have call center experience with medical claims. I need a better paying job.

I worked for Infonxx a few years ago, and it was terrible. I know every job is repetitive, but this took it to a whole new level.

What did you do there? DA, copper? This isn't as bad as you describe it. Tech Support is something I enjoy doing, so repetition isn't an issue with me really.
