WOAI is reporting a school in Northern Bexar County is on lockdown due to these escaped animals. Escaped from where isn't mentioned at this point.

This is crazy....I hope these weren't privately-owned animals. If so, there need to be some laws forbidding ownership.

From the news report it appears they escaped from an enclosure on someone's land. Unfortunately, that land seems to be either in or adjacent to Timberwood Park. As of a few minutes ago it appears they had found what they called Panthers not Tigers, but who knows at this point, except for 2 that were in the house While I prefer in the owner's house to on the school playground I gotta wonder how that happened.

And I agree completely that these people do not need to have wild animals living near a neighborhood. I think they belond in the wild or the zoo at most. I don't think we have native panthers in the region so...

I think I ought to take a quick course in handgun and rifle use in case I encounter a wild animal. Where do I sign up in the next hour or so?

Omistars. Either this person was high = take big cats away, or this person had a TIA = take big cats away. They can keep the stuff (sic) ones.

But the stuffed ones caused all the problems.

Must have been some good stuff.
