My daughter's 4th grade class is a doing a Middle Ages project and she's specifically doing a report on heraldry. She's learned the intricate rules in designing and reading a coat of arms and I'd like to take her someplace where we can see some examples first hand. I looked up the SA Museum of Art, the McNay and the Witte, but they don't seem to have any exhibits related to this time period. Anyone know of a place that might have such an exhibit, perhaps a lesser known museum or maybe in Austin?
