It seems that I can't find many pics of the Southtown/Lavaca area online. Even their own website is kinda lacking in that department. I did a search here and found one post from WAY back in '06, which was great, but I"m still hungry for more.

Anybody have some they're willing to share?

Not really. Just something to give me the essence of what the area is like from a resident's POV.

It's one of my favorite areas, very neat neighborhood. I don't live far from there. I'm always taking pictures for work, so let me see what I can find in the deep recesses of my hard drive.

Try Google Street View which has already traversed all the Southtown streets taking innumerable photos. From this link just drag your Pegman to any position. I don't know Southtown's proper boundaries, but I believe it is Cesar Chavez Blvd to the north and Hwy 281 on the east, but I'm sure someone here can correct me.
This link takes you to a Street View of Le Frite in Southtown.

Would be interested to see this thread resurrected. I'll be in SA next week and I want to get a feel for this area and what life is like here. So far I saw the youtube video from another post but hope to see more. Not just homes but eateries, bars, things to do etc...

Honestly, I'd just prepare to take some walks down Alamo, Presa, and surrounding areas when you're here. Perhaps some people (Chaka ) could suggest some routes. South Alamo is really the main one.
