Agreed. For the prices they charge, we spend a little more and get good good stuff.

Again, I'll be in the minority and admit I love the Roomstore. Bought my first living room set from them and it survived 10 years and more than a dozen moves. Would still have it if the sweaty hubby didn't stink it up beyond salvation.

Just got a new set from them too and I love it. So I'm sad to see the Roomstore go....

Never bought anything at Room Store, but why is everyone so glad about a store closing and more people out of work?

I feel like that (the Xanax part) at the Round Rock store... have never felt that way at any other Ikea.

Except a Room Store location would be much too large for a typical TJs. Maybe a TJs and In 'n' Out combo.

I also agree. Some of what they had wasn't the best quality, but we purchased a solid oak bedroom set and the quality is very good.

When we moved here we pretty much had to buy new furniture to match the new decor. Up north we had a 2 story Colonial outfitted with hand-made Amish furniture and a few Shaker chairs. Talk about solid construction and quality!

I darn near cried when we parted with it!
