Damn, these stores need to stop selling me furniture... Bought a mattress at Lacks just before they went under and a couple of my couches are from RoomStore.

Crap store selling fall-apart furniture. You're better off driving to Austin and going to IKEA. At least you won't pay through the nose for it.

Good riddance. Let's attract quality, not quantity, to San Antonio.

Every time I go to Ikea I feel like I need a xanax to get through the store...and a bottle of Jack when I contemplate building all the wonderful things that I just had to have.

I agree: I never saw there anything I wanted to buy.

Have a house with five furry friends and see how much money you want to spend on furniture.. It's mostly for them anyhow. I'm usually working, moving around, sitting at my computer chair, or relaxing in my recliner in my bedroom. Crap furniture has a purpose...

well good riddance. I think they are probably one of the reasons Lack's went out of business. What happened to the kind of furniture you could pass down a generation or two?
