Interesting, Primo. While I see why there would be some restrictions, I still hope for a neighborhood bar to open up in AR (or REALLY nearby) soon. I like going to places like Stonewerks, Silo, etc. too, but sometimes it's nice to just relax in a non-pressured environment (like NY, Boston, etc.).

(Lifting glass) Here's to good luck for sleeptech210 in his/her venture!

OMG!!!!! I'm sooooo excited to hear this and it's exactly what we are looking for. One that is relaxed with TV's, pool, darts and one that is upscale but still relaxed i.e. NO LOUD OBNOXIOUS music to the point you can't have a conversation. You said "accross the street from Target" do you mean across 1604 from it or across from Culebra? Either one would be fine with me but just curious.

Don't know anything about Stacy's Sports Bar but I agree with you, keep the trash out. I wouldn't even mind if it was a Fox & Hound kind of place i.e. restaurant on one side, bar in the middle, pool tables and TV's on the other side. That's way better than we have now.

Stacy's-get on Culebra and drive towards 410. You will see the landscape change right before your eyes. Fox and Hound is ok. Used to play alot of pool there when I lived in that area. However, hole in the wall is definitely needed where folks who can handle their alcohol can go and relax. And not have to worry about fights, shootings, etc.

Totally agree, a relaxing hole in the wall without the fighting, shooting and trash.

I think a RELAXING, UPSCALE neighborhood place would be MOST well receivedl How about working DOWN Alamo Ranch Parkway from the shopping centerl...closer to the "the housing developments" where those of us that live in the area could "walk to" the local establishment vs drive...win, WIN, WIN! Pick one of the corners at the two stop signs coming down AR Parkway and make us ALL happy (and cheaper rent!!!!) :0

Heck yeah!!! Be cool if something popped up before, or during, the summer. Nice lil place to relax after work/weekends. Just read an article on KSAT about Stacy's. Granted it was the one on Blanco, but the Grissom one just had a shooting there and police have been called out there numerous times. Basically a bar that is the complete opposite of those situations would be awesome.

LOVE IT PAKA!!!!! Yes, make it walking distance. It'll promote exercise and we can get our drink on safely with our neighbors.
