That's kind of interesting seeing that there is a Planet Fitness on McCullough right down the way from the Toys R Us.

I was wondering what used to be there. The Toys R Us wasn't really there for very long, was it?

I can remember the Schwinn Bicycle shop occupied the small building on the corner of Blanco/Lockhill. And the corner by 410 had James Avery Jewelry and a Baskin Robbins ice cream.

Bike Barn was the little store. They carried some great BMX bikes back in the 70s and 80s. I think the relocated to the NE side. I remember a toy store was right there from at least the 80's and maybe sooner. I can't recall if it was always a toys r' us.

The building looks interesting. It's completely done but I can't tell what it is. It's a large version of one of those new funky style buildings that looks kind of mid-century/futuristic.

Fitness club? Maybe, not sure. Like the weather, things in Texas can change pretty quickly.
