My daughter B-day is coming next month yes I know it is late but we decided she has done so well to try to give her something however we don't have a huge budget for this so it could be in Feb maybe March for party. She has went thru alot moving here with military and deserves it we are a military family wanting to give her a sweet 16. Is there any place that is reasonable near hwy 90 and 1604 or near potranco we don't live very far from that location. I have checked some places maybe I am checking in the wrong place but some are 3000 dollars. We would like a place where we could possibly have entertainment I don't want these teens to be bored lol, maybe some danceing and possibly a place with somewhere to heat food if possible. Please give me your ideals on places for about 30 to 90 people. If you have any ideals about sweet 16 themes know any djs or entertaiment let me know we are christians so we want someone with good character. Thanks

I have a suggestion that will save you a ton of money. Skip the giant wedding reception and take she and her best friend to a 5-star, white tablecloth restaurant. Give her a nice piece of jewelry, a charm or bracelet, some little trinket that is special. Write her a letter or a poem. Make her a scrapbook of your life as her mom.

She will remember it always and will thank you later. You will be thanking your$elf.

Kids today don't understand what special is. They think the bigger, the louder, the better. That just makes them like every other kid on MTV. Do something that tells her she IS special...that she doesn't have to count on the reaction of her peers to make her happy.

Again, just a suggestion.

Default VFW hall

I went to a wedding reception at a VFW hall somewhere off Military I believe it was. I know it was not too far from Lackland. They had a kitchen area and of course plenty of room to sit and a dance floor. Wish I could help more but you might want to research that a little
