I wanna try making pad thai today and need some. Can I find it at Central Market/Whole Foods or would I have to go to an Asian market?

CM may have it, I've never looked for it there but haven't noticed it. I buy it at an Asian Market. Last time I got it at Ali Baba on Wurzbach/I-10, but I believe Tim's on Bandera also has it. If you're on the east end of town, there's also a good Vietnamese market in the Rittiman area and they're likely to have it.

The commissary at Lackland doesn't carry it. Anyone know if the HEB on Potranco carries it or not?

Can't help with HEB but I usually get mine at one of the Asian markets.

The HEB on Potranco has a new section of Asian canned goods beside the sushi counter, so try there besides the regular Asian foods aisle.
