I got a flyer from my daughter's daycare about a snowfest with hayrides, food, fake snow, etc. It looks like it might be a little something fun for us to do as a family, but thought I would ask around first. Is it something good for toddlers? How bad were the crowds? Thanks!

Snowfest with fake snow?

If you want a real snowfest go here:

Winterlude | Canada's Capital Region

Um trust me, if I lived anywhere close to real snow I wouldn't be considering a Texas snowfest. But since I do live in Texas and this is the Texas Forum, that was pretty useless info.

Yeah, thats really some useless information, so nice job...

As for the snowfest, I've never been there, but I'll keep that in mind when my daughter is old enough to go. Have fun, and please tell us about it!

Snowfest in Texas with fake snow is really an absurd notion
and not a good first impression of snow for toddlers.

So to answer the question if it is good for toddlers... no.

I took my two little ones a 2 year old and 4 year old they both loved the fake snow. they have it sectioned off one section for little ones and one for older kids. Theyre were a lot of people who brought there families and i have to say that the only complaint i had to many people and not enough to do there were three carnival rides and one playhouse the play house was more for big kids. not bad for 5 dollar wristbands unlimted rides but you wait forever in line in the cold not worth it. Was fun all in all mostly went for the snow got what i wanted and left as to the two other post in texas we dont get snow its texas! and you cant tell me where you do get snow kids dont play in it. stupid

Shouldn't it be called "man-made snow" instead of fake? As far as I understand its it still frozen water, just not made by mother nature.
