wow . and it's the basketball game that's getting all the coverage instead of a this true crime :
Kens5 report

but what really got my attention was the blase' tone the reporter uses at the end of the report (1:34) with the hand gestures (a broader version of the ''qoute fingers'') and asking ''well was it a hate crime....'' . there's a huge difference between a ''journalist (used VERY loosely here) being unbiased and just being stupid .

obviously it wasn't . the taggers were obviously paying tribute to their hero, 1950s yankees pitcher, whitey ford .

In my area, there is a wooden fence on some poor soul's property that is visibile from the street, but only accessible if you walk through a slightly wooded/brushy area. That fence is constantly tagged, painted over and tagged again.

I've often thought that someone should put a bear trap in there....with warning signs all around of course.

As for the report, I've about given up. A lot of so called reporters want to be the star, or make the story about them.

I find it harder and harder to believe that people have never heard any racist comments in San Antonio. They must not have been here long enough.

I think I've actually only heard racist comments second-hand. Maybe I just happen to not be around racist people very often, or they're wise enough to keep it under wraps. Or maybe coming up on 4 years isn't long enough.

This is horrible! Did they do this because they assumed the guy was a neo-Nazi or something (white and shaved head)? I hope they catch the people that did this. They sure left out some pertinent information, you'd think they would have shown a map of the general vicinity of where this happened so people could be on guard!!! (One reason I can't stand watching the local news, so much superficial news reporting).

Thought I'd look up the address on the Bexar County Appraisal District website since they gave his name in the story, but it's not there either. Oh well, it's a complete mystery, I suppose.
