ok, so maybe thats not camping ( I wish I could afford to camp like that!) and maybe they should have their own end of the park, but I have seen plenty of people in tents do the same thing with the nosie and the lights and staying up all night. Those are the ones that should stay home... just a thought.

I cant wait untill I get to be a senior member!!

If we get a site with electricity, we'll bring some christmas lights or something "low" - I have a propane lantern also. We don't usually bring music or anything noisy - just kids playing!

Our main drive for getting an rv is for the potty and shower - I have 3 girls in my entourage, I'm the only one that doesn't mind...

Today I had a "brilliant" idea. If we could sell the house for what BCAD thinks it's worth, we could use some of the money to buy a decked out PUP or even a hybrid. Then we could do like retired people do and just "live" at RV parks! No utility bills, many have free wifi so no internet fees, no HOA fees for pool, rec center....... I love the idea!! (Too bad my kids would find out how crazy I truly am if I told them the idea!! )

Oh, tent people do it too to be sure. I just don't get the point of "camping" and bringing all the stuff from home. What's the point? Drives me insane to be 'out in nature' and have to listen to a blaring boom box.

If I'm outdoors, I'd rather hear the bullfrog chorus (although the one time they were going all night long was a bit much....)

See, I love watching movies outdoors. At home. In the city.

For me, the whole point of going out into nature is enjoying NATURE.

We've had outdoor movie nights here at my place - I've actually looked at it as a business venture before, but that's another thread!

We might, next time we're camping, bring the projector. It would be neat to get a bunch of kids to haul up in front of it and watch a movie with smores and popcorn...

I'll bring the popcorn!

I love to see people do that. The great thing about "camping" is spending time together. It doesnt matter what you do ( of course being careful not to bother others around you) or what you stay in, it's the being together that makes the memories.

This is us too. We are outside of our camper most of the time. I must admit though, I like to sleep with the A/C on those humid Texas nights
