My calendar says its 2008, so it's OK to stop playing Ludacris as your opening music.

I make it a point to change the station every time I hear it.

Sorry, had to vent. I'm cranky.

LOL!! Vent away. I know how you feel. I wanted to rep you for the vent, but I can't share love with you today.

9 times out of 10 those reports are pretty worthless anyway. I've been sailing along through 1604 and Bandera and the news will say there's a huge delay there. Then other times, I really am stuck, and hear nothing.

Awwww....why no love today?!

I always hear it on Ticket 760 on my way home from work, so I change it to 97.7 and usually forget to change it back.

I used to work audio for the morning news on Fox 7 in Austin and I always changed it up. Some days I would play Zapp & Roger, others I would play Blitzkrieg Pop. It was great, I tell you.

I've noticed that too. One time they said there was large accident on Potranco and 1604 while I was there and there was nothing.. my favorite was when I was on 90 and it was raining so hard even I slowed down to barely moving.. meanwhile the guy on the radio was talking about a nice sunny day, no chance of rain, and all highways were incident free..

I just focus my hate on Ludacris, so that anger keeps me from paying attention to the rest of the report.

Crap in, crap out. The radio stations are only reporting the information they get.

The police and TXDOT are the problem. They just give out the nearest major intersection.

I think it was last year I was going into work in the a.m. and the station I was listening to reported a major accident at Military and 1604. It was between Military and Wiseman.

I called the station to let them know but they didn't care.

For those of us commuting an accurate traffic report can make all the difference in getting to where we have to be.

WTOP in D.C. is a great example of providing an excellent traffic update.
