Cool, where exactly are those?

A Houston developer is putting some townhomes on some empty lots in the Tobin Hill neighborhood, just north of DT. I'd love to live in a dense urban environment like that, or in the Broadway. . . or while I'm really dreaming, in that 700 ft. highrise condo that's going to be proposed any day now. . .

Oldmanshirt, the developer is local, the company he's partnered with is Houston-based. And yeah, those 20 town homes in Tobin Hill are going to help a lot with the revitalization of that neighborhood.

My bad. Wherever the developer is from, I'm just glad somebody in SA has heard of the term "infill".

Where in Tobin Hill are they going in? What street? It seems there are also some small townhomes going in in Government Hill, around Reno and Carson streets. They're on the MLS at a pre-construction price of only
$180,000.

We plan to move downtown in a year or so once the last kid nears high-school graduation. We like modern, not historic, so we'll either find a 50's/60's remodel in the inside 410 burbs, or find a small lot or shack teardown in the inner city. There's a very cool architect in Austin who does urban infill and reasonably affordable modern homes. We've corresponded via email, and he might be willing to take on a SA project. If anyone is interested, he's here:
