Very interesting! I hope our "city leaders" and our "special interest" groups will let him do some good to the downtown area without a bunch of red tape and personal agendas that usually ruin such projects.

Understand that the 1% ain't your salvation! Who cares what this person wants to "do". If every person in San Antonio got their own act together by themselves we wouldn't need some rich person to try to create "change". Anyone feelin' me?

Nope. Not feeling you. He is trying to do a good thing for the city, not be salvation for the city.

Get over yourself HillCountry. From the sounds of it, it appears Weston will be putting some of his millions to good use by instituting some kind of a renewal program for downtown. That's a good thing not a bad one. City leaders should be thrilled that someone with the money around here would care enough to invest a dime into the downtown revitalization effort by contributing some actual funds.

I don't mind anyone trying to do good things whether they're rich or not, but I do feel you about everyone taking personal responsibility for themselves.

I had the pleasure of working with Graham for about ten years. I can tell you without a doubt, he is the most down to earth and caring billionaire you will ever meet. If you met him on the street, you would never know his wealth.
