Can you reasonably get from Alamo Heights to Lackland AFB in 25 minutes?

From the center of AH to the center of LAFB is 16.5 miles, so about 24 minutes according to Google Maps.

Depending on your starting point and final destination, traffic, time of day, etc., it seems more likely that it will take longer than that more than it would take less.

I work on Lackland and don't know anyone here who lives in Alamo Heights, so I can't say for sure; but if you're thinking about making that commute daily during rush hour, I would allow for an extra 10-15 minutes.

Cheers! M2

More likely if you avoid 410 at all costs....go straight through downtown and up Highway 90 to get there...best bet. Still I think you are looking at 30 to 45 min in rush hour/afternoon traffic.

It takes me 24mins to get to Lackland from 1604/Tezel area. That's interesting about AH...you'd think it would be less time.

It takes me about the same time from close to Bandera and 1604, but that's a completely different commute than going through downtown San Antonio...
