Did you have your new house warranty work done? (contractors, home inspector)

My house was a year old on June 29. Per the builder, warranty work
could not be identified until the 11th month walk-through. In preparation
for the walk-through, I hire a home inspector and had the house inspected.
I am really glad I did as they found a lot of items wrong with the house,
including two roof leaks.

Today, Setp 14, I am home while the contractors do the warranty work.
Sheetrock repairs, replace cracked stucco, fix a cracked rafter, fill
in mortor in bricks where it is missing, replacing plugs that should be GFI, etc.

If you need the name of an excellent home inspector after it is built,
let me know. My neighbor used the same inspector as our houses were
completed the same time. She was so happy to have them look at her house
as they also found a lot of things wrong.
