Hi, folks.

I have a good friend here in SA who's going through some acute depression issues with potentially disastrous consequences. Does anyone know of a good resource for people who might need in-patient but can't pay? She's been off and on with a job, and her boyfriend, unfortunately, was just laid off. Is the emergency room the only thing available?

Post here or send me a DM.

Many thanks for all your help.

I think I just answered my own question. "The Center for Health Care Services" seems to offer a lot of great resources, in case anyone needs them.

Get in touch with the Center for Health Care Services. Their website is www.chcsbc.org and lists programs and contact numbers.

Family Service Association and Family Endeavors are also other options. Depending on past history (crime victim specifically) Jewish Family Service is also an option.

Thanks for all the help, folks!

Looks like she's OK for the moment. She made a call and should be in touch with some services. And now, she also has some back-up possibilities. C-D Forum is a great resource!

Hello everyone. I'm looking for an in/ outpatient program for my brother. He suffers from anxiety and takes meds for it. But I think he may also be suffering from depression and anger issues. He has been going threw quite a lot. From not being able to see his daughter in years and from not having a place to live. And other problems. I really wanna find him some help quick because I'm afraid of what he might do if he doesn't have someone to talk to and help him with his issues. If anyone has any suggestions or anything I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much..
