Hello:

I am relocating to San Antonio here in a couple months and am having trouble finding a good place to live. Every time I think I found a good place, I end up reading terrible reviews online and it turns me off.

Does anyone have a good idea of what apartment complexes are good to live in?

I have considered such places as Promontory Pointe (but have read bad things about it, such as it is next to section 8 housing).

I am also looking into the new Evans Ranch Apartments or the Village of Hampton Cove.

I would prefer more of a luxury style apartment.

Comments/Suggestions? Any would be helpful

Thanks!

My friend lived at these a few years back whille in between homes and they are really nice. Great location. Several of the young local news personalities lived there, so they must have heard good things about it since they relocated too.

Vista Ridge Apartments - Fogelman Management Group

And you are correct on Promitory Point...they are beautiful, but surrounded by section 8. But very close to the Med Center if that is where you want to be.

You'll find bad reviews everywhere. At some point you have to ignore them and find a place to live. Keep in mind that people are much more likely to search out a way to give a bad review when they're upset than to randomly search out ratings websites and give a good rating when they're happy.

There are ghost stories about Promontory Pointe.

LOL

What do you guys think about the new Evans Ranch Apartments? They just opened last month and is located in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio.

How is the Stone Oak area?

Also, wow I like the look of that Vista Ridge community. Thanks for suggesting that, I will have to look more into it.

Stone Oak is very nice, traffic can be a nightmare up that way though.
