Hello, everyone! I plan on attending TLU for Fall 2012-Spring 2013. I was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about TLU. I'm attending TLU all the way from California, so I know it will be quite a change. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

I'm a TLU alum, graduating in 2007. The school has undergone a lot of changes even in that short amount of time. It is a very small campus and by the end of the first semester you should know a lot of the people around campus. If you are living on campus get to know the people you live with. They will be your BFFs. Those people and those in your orientation group that you'll most likely have quite a few classes depending on your major. Do get involved. Whether it be campus ministry or a service organization or intramurals or something. Maybe even a job at the psot office, bookstore at the gym. Something. I knew a few people that just locked themselves in their rooms and they did not have a great experience.

Seguin itself is a small town and you'll know the city like the back of your hand by the third week. I would recommend having a car, if possible, because you will end up traveling to SA and New Braunfels on occasion.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions about anything in particular. That was kind of what I thought was important.
