TDHCA Texas First Time Homebuyer Program

I can't understand the map if this program covers properties in Central SA?
Or does it have to be outside the 1604 Loop?

Has anyone used this program to purchase their FIRST home here in SA?

Central SA. Those different colored tracts are where you can use this program...areas that are very low income or are economically distressed.

Here is the PDF of Bexar County: http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/homeown...maps/Bexar.pdf

The city of San Antonio also has a first time homebuyers program. There's an income restriction and the max home price is 110K.

The USDA has a program as well, if you are just looking to buy with a very low down payment, or no down payment. Those homes have to be in rural areas though. You also have to have good credit for their program.
