I gotta admit. I get the Hot Dogs and Beef Jerky in these places. Does anybody else eat this stuff? How about the free coffee?

I've eaten the spicy dogs from Valero that they have for 2 for $2.22. Good stuff if you ask me. I've only ever had the coffee when it was free after a Spurs win, lol.

Used to work off of Datapoint and Fred. I would get burgers and chicken sandwiches from the Valero nearby. Only If I forgot to bring something to eat. .. That was over year ago and I'm still here with no health problems. Yet..

That was probably a near miss right there. Does anyone know how long that food has been there in the first place?

Maybe about as long as McDonald's keeps its food in steaming trays. All day until it's gone.

I ate a hot dog once from Valero and didn't die. But I started to think about how many gross people might have sneezed, coughed, or just breathed on the food and haven't gotten once since. Maybe the heat kills the germs, though. It's probably just a tad bit dirtier than eating at a buffet.

I love the hot dogs. The regular and those red sausage ones whenever they have those. Don't get to eat them often but never had issues.

Never thought about hygiene issues and things like that always ick me out. I avoid too much as it is so will opt to try and forget anything bad I've read here and instead focus on my super-immunity. Stressing over something itself can only break that down allowing you to succumb to germs in the first place.

I prefer the second closest chinos to my house. They have a wide variety of chinese candies, chamoys, Lucas, Vera Mangos, and other types of candies you grow up with here. Once a year or so we make a candy raid and buy like ten dollars worth.
