What about moving from Texas to Michigan, 1400+ miles? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

1400 miles ...you have two optios..

ABF movers. you load and unload the truck and they drive it. We did this from GA to TX and it worked well. Kept the move under $4k.

Traditional movers who do it all, load and drive.

I would use either PackRat or Pods and do the packing yourself and have them deliver it. MUCH cheaper. Hope this helps!

you have to pay to join angies list to post a review. there is HEAVY bias on that website and i urge you to not use them as a reference.

Bias towards whom? I know you have to pay, as I am a customer...

I called two men and a truck and monster movers. Monster movers seem like a much nicer deal with a lower rate and three guys instead of two, so I'm going with them. Thanks.

Thanks again. They use three guys instead of two, so it will be quick.

I forgot to mention the part about 3 guys, definitely makes it quicker. So glad I was able to help! Good luck with your move
