I made several updates tonight - if you folks see anything out of place, pls let me know! I can correct web mistakes/problems, but if there is an issue with content you'll have to contact the office. I'm just the web guy.
Can you tone down all the flashing gimmicks? It's reminds me when I first learned how to use PowerPoint. Had to have all kinds of bells and whistles but realized they were taking away from the message. Just some feedback I thought I would share. But don't make any changes on my input. Others may like that sort of stuff.

I did remove some of the flashers - I've tried to only use the "new" graphic when appropriate. There's a new "hot news" .gif now. The other images flash because they wanted them to.

Default Thanks!

The section on the right "Recreation" has been there for a long time. Not new anymore maybe they would consider removing that since the information is already on the right to the different programs.

Lost and Found is not "new" anymore so it seems like that could be removed.

Can't do much about the COP logo I guess. Thanks for taking care of the rest and being open about suggestions. Did they give you the crime stats for March yet to post.

Talk to ya later.

The HOA won't have their maintenance remove the graffiti/tagging at the corner of Pt. Canyon/Pt. Sunset. Several people have complained about it and their response is that the county is responisble. Doesn't our maintenance remove it from the bridges? I just feel that if it's anywhere that it can be seen by residents or folks driving through, we should get rid of ASAP. It's been there for 3 1/2 weeks now.

Concur! If it was an expensive repair or something that would generate liability through the project then sure, get the county to do it. Getting rid of graffiti however is typically inexpensive (if painting over for example) and would serve to discourage further incidents. Of course it would also help to preserve property values which is what the HOA is charged with doing.

Got a new email stating they would take care of the graffiti!

Also, there is a very sweet, female German shepard (mostly black) running up and down Point Canyon/Point Cove for 2 days now. Yes, I've called animal control. She is not aggressive if anyone wants her. Everybody is helping to take care of her until they pick up.

I learned something new this evening.....I'm a bit slow in keeping up with the youth of today.....: but it is a term referred to as "Trolls" and "don't feed the Trolls" . I think this forum reflects that appropriately, especially within the last 6 months.....
