1850 sq ft, 70 when home, 72 when gone during the day...bills average $100. 4 yr old home, solar screens, so energy efficient that the radiant barrier guy said it would take too many years to see a return on investment to add to attic.

Everyone else would happily set it to 80, but I gotta have it at 78 minimum. I would ideally like it at 76, but I know when to compromise.

1.5 story (2800 sq ft down, 900 sq ft up) with A/C units for each floor. All windows tinted and R-38 insulation in attic and radiant barrier.

Downstairs thermostat normally set to 78-80 at all times and upstairs thermostat is at 78-84 based on if area is used (last month maybe once weekly). Also, two large fridges and a desktop computer on day. Last month electric around $150.

I have a 2,400 sq.ft. home, single story, and my current CPS bill is $71 ($59 electricity, $12 gas). My highest bill was last September which was $110. My home had the spray foam insulation in the attic and it is incredible. This is a new construction home that is 1.5 years old. The temp in my home is very comfortable and stable and the savings are great. Another benefit is that is essentially seals the environment out and I get NO insects in the house. No spiders, scorpions, etc!

71 dollars a month. Ohh how i wish.

Mine is set at 72. The house is 2 and a half years old, not quite as airtight as it was when we moved in because we're having foundation problems. I have the radiant barrier and blown insulation in the attic. My bill last month was $165. I know if I set the thermostat a little higher, the bill would be a lot lower...but honestly, I would rather be comfortable than save a few bucks. My parents keep their house at 78 and that's just not comfortable at all to me.

75 when at home, 82 when at work. I also let the upstairs go to 82 if no one is up there. 3800 sq ft house, bill is usually around 90, last month it was 200, but I'm home in the summer . We have the Energy Guard thermoststats that turn the air off when we leave, and back on right before we come come. Heaven...

We are home all day and have 5 zones all set to 78. If they are all on the same temp it stays really cool. Anything lower than 77 and it's freezing. Newer home but with some doorway gaps to the outside. Last month's bill, about $225.
