Hi,

I have a friend that got into a accident on 1604 that damaged a good portion of the left side of his car (parts of the frame will need to be replaced). I was wondering if you any of you have any recommendations for reasonably priced, reliable collision repair services. Since he didn't have collision insurance, he'll be paying for everything out of his pocket. An estimate from ProCare Collision said it will be around $5000. That's a little too much for him. Used parts are perfectly fine. Also, one man mechanics are okay as well.

I don't know specifically if they do collision work but I have always had good experiences at Alamo Garage (north central side of town bordering Castle Hills). I also had one good experience with Sirianni when AG couldn't take my car and I needed immediate service. It's on West Ave. between Loop 410 and Blanco.
