For those who have been asking what Castro has done for some of us to want him to excel even further, well he has done things for us that others before would not have.

Below are two examples of things getting done with his cooperation.

IMO, there was a national politics reason for the timing of that move that we probably shouldn't get into here. Think about the claim to fame of the man it was named after and what was happening in the midwest around the time that it happened and you'll connect the dots.

I think he wants to get it on the ballot & get the press release out before he makes his speech at the Dem Convention. Also before the public at large has time to really think this out too much.
Also some of the public has thought it through and we approve. Mayor Castro has our mandate.

Get real.
If you have data on the redistribution of Robin Hood funds then please post them.

For now I am doubting your claim and am pretty sure soon I will just discount it completely as rhetoric not based on data.

early childhood is the key word. They use these words to play on emotions. Who doesnt want to help the kiddies. We have head start, and many other early childhood programs. Then you look at the dropout rate and see that this early childhood program will not work.

Well google AISD request to raise taxes. Since I live in the district that claim came right out of their FaQ section. Most residents want to make sure that if they agree to have the taxes raised if won't be taken!

It must go to Highland Park ISD...

Oh wait lets look at SSAISD...

48.9% of their budget is State Aid
17.6% is property taxes collected

Budget and Fiscal Services

Surely anyone with a brain knows what is going on.

No more tax money.
Agree, glad to see others are sick and tired of tax increases.
