The 10 East/35 North exit downtown...that's what's it's called on TV and I've always wondered why. Does anyone know?

Fine Silver was a clothing manufacturer a long time ago. When I used to work for Bill Miller B-B-Q way back in the day, Fine Silver supplied us with our uniforms.

The name is Finesilver [one word]. The family was a uniform manufacturer and tailor for military uniforms around the WW II era. There are still steel straightpins in the floorboards where the work took place.

It is now an art gallery and worthy of a stop.

The curve wraps around it. It'll be on your right if you're heading west. It's right where you're supposed to be slowing down.

Fine Silver Manufacturing has been there forever. I would imagine if the Artsy's are attempting to rename the area like "Southtown" it's because it's in the curve of I-10W peeling off I-35S
