My parents have a slow gas leak under the house that needs fixing. Don't worry gas is off, but want to get it fixed before it gets cold again. I've been told by some the city will fix it. It's after the meter and under the pier and beam house. Just wondering if any of y'all have had any experience with this and if it is done quickly.

The City won't fix it if it's past the meter. You will have to contact a licensed plumber to take care of it.

Yes get a licensed plumber to do that. It is something you do not what a rookie/amature to do.

It's the same as your water meter. If it's on the street side it's SAWS. If it's on the house side it's all yours.
