Well, for me, I really don't care if she has a piece of paper that shows if she has an education that went further than High School or not. If they can hold a half-a**ed intelligent conversation and don't make a career out of living off of welfare, that's a good start.
As far as where to meet someone that is "degreed", there is no one specific area or location to look...they are all over, as
are people without a college education. I can understand the OP's desire to find a lady with a similar education and experience, but I think you are really limiting yourself in finding a mate if you use "having a degree" as a criteria.
Good luck in your search!

I've never been to these things, but surely they attract degreed folks, although I'm not sure how young and how female they are!

Thanks for that. Sounds like fun! I'd want to be at too many tables though

They generally seem far and few in between no matter where you are in the city unless you're speaking of over 40's..

Anyone have any advice? Are there degreed young areas in this city or is it just sparse and you have to deal with it?
LOL sorry for laughing, but your post reminds me of a time my friend posted on Facebook (at the time he was still single), he was looking for young women who were not baby momma's

idk what to tell ya!

There are many young guys with degrees out there who are with women with no degrees...i mean, does it really make a difference in your life?

Yes I have my Degree in Computer Science from London, UK (where I'm from), and I continue to work in the IT industry. But I'm taken

I didn't read the whole thread, but did you try that meetup website?
Meetups near San Antonio, Texas - Meetup

I think its kind of pretentious to ask for a certain education level. Its kind of like saying, I'm so much brighter than those dim-wit non college folks. I've meet idiots with a college degree, even met a fair share of idiot MD's. God only knows how they made it through school. I've also met some very smart people without degrees. I'd be far more concerned about the character of the person than the piece of paper. That degree does not make one a better person, it just might enable them to buy more superficial material junk.

If you have an interest in pets you might volunteer at one of the shelters. I don't know how many college educated people there are but they do get people interested in helping others. The Town & Country shelter in Converse always can use the help and they care greatly for animals. You never know who you might meet when you volunteer. But it should be done for the right reasons, I mean really caring about people or pets you are trying to help.

Just wait until he adds a qualifier that she can't be obese, either. Might as well pack up and leave at that point.

LOL. Or those that have children, even more limitations.

Well he could always put up a billboard and advertise.

He could get a gym membership, but then again being in shape isn't always an indication of a college educated brain. Or start hanging out at the museums.
