Sometimes I just really like browsing small bookstores. I just discovered Wind Books the other day and had a great time browsing through all these titles I never would have found on my ereader.

I'm just wondering what other cool little bookstores are tucked away in SA. Anybody have any recommendations for a some other good ones to visit?

I love the Half Price Books at Broadway. Check up the second floor, it has all kinds of books.

For new books, The Twig at the Pearl. Definitely.

For used, Nine Lives Books on Exchange Parkway and 410.

I agree with The Twig. Great little shop. Plus, friend them on Facebook. They, too, have a good number of author talks and signings--fun!

Is the used bookstore on West Avenue, close to Youth Alternatives, still there? It's been many years since I've been by there.
