I don't understand the LOL comment? This is being talked about in another thread. People are pretty excited. Construction is supposed to start in 90-120 days.

The thing that gets me is, it's not like the city/county doesn't understand the growth on this side. They just ignore it.

The city/county don't construct freeways, interchanges, freeway overpasses, etc. that's state funded and built. There's not much they can do.

It's not that they ignore it. It's that they don't have the money to be able to fix everything as soon (or before) it needs it, not to mention the time it takes to design projects and get all the approvals.

Of course there is something they can do. Who goes to TxDOT and says, "hey, we have a proposal?" Happens all the time in Harris County...

Well, somebody needs to explain the super street concept to me, then. Because to me, it's just putting a band-aid on a slit wrist.

No one makes you live in an area with inadequate infrastructure. Perhaps that should be something to consider before moving to a location.

How do you not understand the LOL comment? This project has been on the docket for years and finally last May they were supposed to break ground they keep pushing this project back and back.
So the LOL comment is because I am sure something will happen and it will get pushed back again.
Don't hold your breath for a Theater around our area.
