This city could be so much more, but not with an attitude of denial.
How is it denial if I've personally never seen it? That's something you don't forget seeing.

I've seen diapers in parking lots here too.
Maybe you're just not noticing them for some reason or you've gotten very lucky.

Perhaps I'm lucky or perhaps it's not as big an issue as some think. I don't know. I'm not trying minimize the situation if it exists but up until reading about it in the previous page, I had never seen it myself not heard anyone in real life talk about it nor anyone online post about it until like I said, the previous page.

Just saw one the other day on the street. I've seen them in parking lots more times than I can count, unfortunately, and in places all over San Antonio. I even saw a family change their baby and leave the diaper there - they drove off too fast once I realized what they'd done or I'd have said something. I swear I'm tempted to toss trash back into people's cars, but given how gun happy people are here, I don't want to get shot.

I have seen diapers in parking lots from time to time but it is not something I see a lot of.

It happens enough to make me feel really dissapointed in San Antonio.

If like you, which I don't believe in the least, and dirty diapers are all over Parkin lots in SA, please take a time stamped picture of some with a view that shows its in SA and post them later today or tomorrow.

We'll patiently be waiting, not holding our breaths though.
If we were facebook friends you could look in my album....there's one from the Academy at Military and 410...in the shopping cart. There's one from in front of the Smashburger on 151 and Potranco. And there's one from the Target parking lot in Alamo Ranch. It's kind of a joke with me....I tag certain friends so they can see them and they do the same for me. It is huge in SA and if you haven't seen one you must not get out much.

Totally agree..... I have seen them at the same Target! I had never, ever, seen that in my life until I moved here.

This is an amazingly frustrating issue, as most of the places listed here should have diaper changing facilities within their stores.

That's why, to me, it's not an issue of laziness, per se. It's just something certain people find acceptable. Maybe because they see so much of it that they think it's normal?

I can't argue with that comment, for sure. I'm fairly certain that the attitude of denial about the trash problem in this city is partially because most have lived with the garbage in their face for so long they think of it as part of the landscape.

Could it be that these offenders think of this behavior as "planting a diaper"?
