Anyone seeing this new “look” for him?
I guess he is trying to take away the baby face visage but I don’t know that it helps that much

Beard or not. It is going to take a lot more than that to get him more voters.

This reminds me of Rick Perry and his eyeglasses stunt.

Default Julian and Rick,

Rick Perry and Beards and Glasses. I will never forget the immense gaff on a nationally televised G.O.P. Pres. Candidate Debate where he, Perry, forgot the names of a couple of Federal Agencies which he would eliminate after he was elected Pres.
Probably the very agency which Julian was heading at the time- was the agency which the Ex-Gov. forgot to remember the acronym for.
Yes, an awkward onstage moment indeed that was for Perry until he totally redeemed himself when shortly afterward he gracefully glided across the stage on Dancing with the Stars program.

I agree—
I am Democratic voter but in DFW area
I don’t think he is anywhere ready to run for president
Maybe he is jockeying for VP spot but there are better candidates
He gets lot of media attention through

Julian? Likely to land a Secretarial spot again, being groomed. Biden is the yet to be announced nominee-
candidate.

Default Surely,

Regarding Julian and his beard vs shaved twin Joaquin. There. Well. Trying for a new look. A true, man of the people,
The Abraham Lincoln from the Southwestern U.S. Julian and his twin, benefit from a double dose of media exposure as it were, due to the unerring resemblance of identical twins.
They are politically , "Fooling a great deal of people a great deal of the time." Today one of the guys, well, introduced some legislation. Just like the River Parade stunt.
