Really? You are comparing a dead 23 year old prostitute to those two?

According to some, all lives are equally valuable. My point was they are hypocritical in that they most likely celebrated the death of the first two

I have no qualms with the death of Saddam, Osama or a thieving prostitute...

As for the unclean hands doctrine, I would also have no qualms with him being charged for soliciting a prostitute; but as for the shooting of an thief who stole property at night, our judicial system has already spoken on that and I agree with the verdict.

As stated numerous times before, the law should give no advantage to criminals...

Are you speaking to one person in particular whom you know, definitely, celebrated their deaths?

I know many, MANY MANY people here who absolutely did not celebrate their deaths. So while there are those who did, plenty did not.

Right!

There are tons of pictures on Google showing people all across this nation celebrating Osama's death.

Again, are you speaking to one individual whom you know took part in such events? If so, then any accusation of hypocrisy would be appropriate.

However, you can not accuse one person of hypocrisy based on what *others* have done. I have not denied that there were people in the US who celebrated such deaths. I do deny, vehemently, that ALL people in the US did. Again, I know many many people who spoke out publicly against such celebrations, but no pictures were taken of them.

Not all of us celebrate death.

I heard you accidentally went 2 miles over the speed limit once.

They should send Seal Team 6 after you right away.

You said, and I quote...

Quote:

I provided photographic evidence that MANY MANY people DID celebrate their deaths, as the vast majority of Americans did (myself included).

Again, you speak as though you represent the majority, but unfortunately for you, you do not. The vast majority of Americans (to include our President) was overjoyed at the death of Osama bin Laden, and the majority of Texans agree with the lethal force laws of this state.

Denial doesn't change reality, but if it makes you sleep better at night, then good for you!

This thread has nothing to do with Osama or Saddam. It is about a girl who made some bad choices and paid for it with her life. She is not an "evil" human being like the two I mentioned earlier but I don't deny that she is a criminal. She did not deserve to die and I don't see anyone out in the streets celebrating her death like the pictures posted earlier.

The law is outdated and needs to be modified. Criminals should never benefit from this law if it needs to remain on the books.
