We are looking for fresh, homegrown, organic fruits and vegetables, and just moved here so closer to New Braunfels is better but would love to hear about any that you have tried or are good. Thanks.

Here's a listing of farmer's markets in Texas. Look's like there should be one in New Braunfels.

Here's a great thread that was included in the SA Index for several different markets in the area, including those for organic produce... with an additional previous link with even more info:

That's why I love this site. I'm kind of new to it but I love how I can ask anything and find stuff and I been telling people about it! Thanks so much. It just seems like the produce at the market is kinda whack these days and we drove all the way to Austin to Whole Foods on Lamar, which is spectacular for lots of things, but really expensive to me. Some things are worth it to us like soaps and stuff we use constantly for us and kids and don't want that bad sodium laurel and laureth sulfates which is in almost everything. But it would be great to feed our families here some healthy organic stuff and support someone local too!

I don't have internet yet myself (we don't want Time Warner cause cousins have had to have them come out 6 times in 2 weeks so far-wow) so at a loss here in New Braunfels as stated in other thread) so don't have time to try to navigate way around and didn't know of those other areas on this site even, so I can't wait till I can surf around again.

try Internet America for your internet. I don't have any problems with them.

I wasn't sure if you knew, there is a Whole Foods in San Antonio on Basse Rd. You don't have to drive all the way to Austin! Though, that one in Austin is AMAZING! Just wanted to let you know! I'm looking for really good farmers markets too! So...maybe I'll find something on this post!
