Does anyone know of a yoga class for more mature citizens? My wife is interested. Somewhere in the 410 and Broadway area would help.

Can't help you with that area, but my mom goes to the YMCA on Blanco north of 1604 for their Silver Sneakers classes - they have regular exercise classes, yoga and Zumba. Have your wife look for Silver Sneakers locations - sometimes insurance pays for it, too (through Medicare).

Many senior citizens are in my yoga classes at Gold's gym.
Maybe she can get a free trial to see if she likes it. They also offer many other classes she may like.
At Gold's there is a lady who takes multiple classes and is in her early 80's!
She is amazing.
If she wants something very small and personal, I recommend a private yoga studio.

My husband started with a yoga class through Oasis (San Antonio OASIS) this past spring. The classes are $6 per session and meet at Warm Springs. He enjoyed the class so much that he also started going to the actual yoga place where the Oasis instructor normally teaches. It's called Yoga in Motion (Yoga in Motion | San Antonio, TX 78213), located at West and Lockhill-Selma. His class there costs about $13 per class. The class he's taking is called "Intro to Gentle Yoga".

My mom lives in CA and is 78 years old....and she just started taking tai chi. She broke her shoulder several months ago and it has been very therapeutic for her. She is actually quite the fitness buff and she and her 85 year old husband thoroughly enjoy the classes. These are offered through their YMCA.
